A push on - auto off light switch that remains on X seconds after the last motion is detected in the room.
Other reviewers have indicated that having to push a button to turn on the light is a "bad" feature. Actually, if you are in any room which has sufficient daylight, you will not want to have a motion activated light. Motion activated lights turn on whether or not the light is needed when motion is detected. That is great for a garage or a basement where light is always needed, but in most lighting situations it is a detriment. You don't want a light turning on in a bedroom, kitchen, or living room during the middle of the day just because you walk into the room. That is a waste of energy and light bulb life. This switch won't turn on unless you tell it to and it will turn off if the room is unused. What could be more perfect?
In short, it is an ideal switch for daylight lit rooms. It is especially great for kids who always turn on, but never turn off the lights!
