I bought this along with the "Cooper Lighting HS8 Motion Regent Night Light" so I could compare the two. This one is small and not too bright, but enough if strictly using as a night light. It has a nice soft blue glow, enough to see things clearly immediately surrounding the light. The HS8 is larger and much brighter. It's the better choice for lighting a room or hall where disturbing a sleeper is not an issue.

Both work well and as expected.

This light works great. With the motion detector, it only goes on if there is some movement. Saves on electricity over a regular night light. I would recommend this light very highly.
